I feel like singing that "Where are you Christmas" song, but be singing about where Spring is- does anyone else still have their heat on? I feel like I turn it off because it starts to get warm, and then suddenly it's freezing again! I am ready for beach days!
Last weekend, well on Mother's Day, we went to Great Wolf Lodge in MA for a night. We had such a great time! If you ever see a good deal... snap it up and go have fun! It definitely exceeded my hard to impress husband's expectations! We then celebrated my grandmother's 95th birthday and then took my husband to the airport for another work trip. This week he doesn't have to worry about coming home to a new stone walking path, new lights on the deck or all sorts of things moved around or changed.
We are about to hit a very bittersweet milestone- we have kindergarten screening today. I am so sad just thinking about her going to big kid school. My little guy had his last day of his first year of preschool yesterday, which bummed him out- he loved school. I can't believe my babies are getting so big!
Anyway, there are a lot of fun events this weekend! Check out the calendar to see them all. We always enjoy going to the Bike Rodeo, however this year I may have to go check out the awesome kites in South Portland at the 10th Annual Bug Light Kite Festival. Although after the no screen night event at the Maine Maritime Museum, my kids have been dying to get back to the museum. Who know where we will end up?!
