Good morning friends!
Happy Friday! I hope everyone has some exciting plans for the long weekend, assuming you get a long weekend. I just finished a very extensive fall and Halloween event guide, so if you have nothing to do this weekend It is jam-packed with things to do and places to go. Our event calendar has a lot of things going on too!
My husband doesn't have a long weekend and I have one child with Friday off and the other with preschool, so after I teach a swim lesson I'm looking forward to getting a little bit of time with my oldest daughter doing something fun together. She got to stay up late last night and watch Double, Double Toil and Trouble with me last night, which brought back a lot of memories of me getting to secretly stay up late while my sister went to bed. As we were putting him to bed she constantly kept asking in a not so hushed voice whether he was asleep and we could go watch the movie yet. It reminded me of my not so stealthy self doing the same thing as a kid.
Tonight is our big speed friending event for Mom's, if you haven't gotten your free ticket yet they are still available on Facebook! Maybe you caught Kimberly French of Portland Macaroni Kid and me on Tuesday on Good Morning Maine, it was so much fun to go to the studio and film, even if it was live and our mistakes couldn't be edited.
