Description
The Rockland Sculpture Race is a community event where individuals, teams and families build sculptural contraptions, incorporating wheels, that they push, pull and pedal. Racers win awards for ingenuity, outlandishness, costumes and sometimes speed.
This is a free, family-friendly, community event, all for the sake of spectacle and fun. Sculptural contraptions will be exhibited on Main Street from 4-5pm. Race begins at 5pm with an award ceremony immediately following in the CMCA courtyard. Entries are welcome until 6/14.
