Wendy Ulmer has written many children's books, but her career as a writer started with a book called, A Campfire for Cowboy Billy. It is charming tale of friendship and adventure which gives young readers a paradigm to deal with death and the loss of someone dear. Wendy wrote the book in honor of her own father and we are resurrecting it for a new audience who may not have seen or heard of it.
