Let’s face it, as busy moms, it’s hard to make new friends, especially with babies and toddlers in tow. Our lives revolve around our children and often our spouses, leaving little time for ourselves and our needs. We all know that in order to best care for our loved ones, we have to take care of ourselves, but life often gets in the way of that, including fostering friendships with other moms. I mean, when was the last time you just sat down and chatted with another mom about anything, child-related or not, face to face? I don’t mean posting in a virtual mom group. I mean in person. Hard to remember? I hear you. And I bet it’s been even longer since you made some new friends, right? Not that there’s anything wrong with your current friends, but wouldn’t it be nice to meet some other moms who might bring something new to your life?
Well, you’re in luck. StrollerTraffic and Hood Milk have partnered with Macaroni Kid to help moms with littles meet other moms with a fun, unique, free evening out. You’ll have the chance to meet multiple moms in a short amount of time, and, based on responses to the hosts’ questions, you just might find the friend you never knew you were missing!
Join the Macaroni Kid editions in Maine and StrollerTraffic at Drouin Dance Center in Westbrook for a fun-filled evening of mingling and speed-friending. The event will be held on October 11, 2019 at 6:30PM. Your children aged 0-3 are welcome, though we encourage you to use this as an opportunity to have a night to yourself if possible. You never know, you might hit it off with some moms and want to head out after the event!
We’ll have smoothies made with Hood Milk for you to enjoy while you finally get a much-needed chance to chat with some other moms of littles. Join us!
